Petition filed against Microsoft for banning its products on the ground of violation of privacy of users. The Petitioner who purchased a product from Microsoft and thereafter, the employees of the Petitioner receive E-mails from so many marketing companies and the details of employees have been reportedly procured from Microsoft. The Petitioner relied upon the decision in K.Puttuswamy case and pleaded that there is a violation of Article 21 of the Constitution of India. The Petitioner also sought for an injunction preventing the Non-State Entities viz. Microsoft from using the data of the Indian Citizens.
