Supreme Court today dismissed the petition for scraping the pension to the MPs after their tenure. It is contended that allowing pension throughout the life time even after their official tenure as MPs violating Art.14 of Constitution of India. Supreme Court while dismissing the petition observed that MPs go for election every five year and go to their constituencies and need to travel and hence pension to them is justified.
