Jodhpur Court convicted the self styled Godman Asaram for guilty of Rape and illegally confining a minor girl in 2013. It is reported that he and his associates held guilty, but the quantum of sentence has not been pronounced. The Self styled Godman Asaram aged 77 years and also facing another trial for the offences of rape. He has been charged sheeted under the provisions of Indian Penal Code, Juvenile Justice Act and POSCO Act.
